Nita’s knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulations consistently saves agencies tens of thousands of dollars in audits. Her ability to teach therapists and Quality Assurance Staff appropriate documentation and sound methods of assessment and intervention is especially helpful to agencies. Currently, Nita’s special concerns are helping staff meet OASIS-C requirements and the new therapy assessment visit time frames.

She was instrumental in the start-up of three home health agencies. Her unique management style inspires clinical teams to achieve measurable success in quality care and performance improvement. Performance Improvement is her special interest. Her knowledge and experience in health care management help agencies develop and maximize their processes for the most effective operations.
Jane Bleess Schurter, MSPT, CWS
Along with Jane’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy, she is also a Certified Wound Specialist and an APTA Credentialed Physical Therapy Clinical Instructor. Her clinical experience includes home health and sub-acute care. She is also a member of the Affiliate Faculty at Regis University.

Gina’s experience includes working with interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with nurses, doctors, and staff to support patients and families with the emotional impact of their illness, and helping them access the tools needed to increase independence and daily living skills.
